Another KILLER show at Palaver Thursday; Thanks to everyone that made it out!

The brain child of our good buddy Ken: General Joystick. Just a bunch of young bucks writing excellent instrumental rock tunes. I couldn’t tell if the songs were long or if they just seamlessly blended a bunch of short tunes into each other, making it sound long… either way, I never get bored watching these guys.

MFM has been around this area for a couple of years now, but I’ve never been able to see them live before this past Thursday. It seemed as though I was one of the only people at the show who could say that too. Both of the other bands were excited to share the stage with these guys, and the room filled up when they hit the stage. I can’t get enough instrumental rock… especially when you add saxophone, some in-your-face violin playing and a F***ing didgeridoo into the mix!
JVLN - https://www.facebook.com/JVLNmetal?fref=ts
AKA J(a)V(e)L(i)N was the heaviest band on the bill, and a solid choice for the guys to close out the night. This three piece is the epitome of what a metal band should be. They don’t need vocals to rip your face off, and thats when you know the music itself is above par. Metal bands based in Nashville are hit or miss, and these guys are at the top of the game.
